Application of Augmented Reality CSTB helps make the invisible visible, and visualize the paths wind projects around the Great tested in a wind tunnel by the CSTB, and to better appropriate its effects. The application allows to project results from numerical simulations, or measurements of post-processing, directly on the modeling of buildings tested in the wind tunnel. It thus allows for example to better understand the relationship between the structure of the flow of the wind and the pressure fields measured at the surface of the building, or to understand the origin of potential discomfort areas identified in the foot of the building. The application also allows to offer educational and fun medium to present the results of the expertise of CSTB engineers on all your projects. Augmented reality can generate directly to your meeting table, in 3D, the results of wind tunnel simulations and tests in order to share them with your employees, customers and suppliers. The natural interaction with the data offered Augmented Reality allows a better appropriation of the results and therefore a better understanding of the effects often complex wind on buildings.
